ASPCA GRANT
2009
We desperately needed funding with which to install safe electrical wiring in the barn area, enabling us to cool the horses on hot Oklahoma summer days, and to warm water tanks during the cold winter freeze. Once more, our friends at the ASPCA assisted us in providing this desperately needed improvement. Without the generous help provided by grants from the ASPCA, our job of caring for the horses would be much more difficult!

Running power underground to heat water tanks in the pastures in winter. Not only do the horses drink better when the water is warmer, we experience far less issues with colic, which helps reduce our veterinary costs!
