Lily

Lily was saved directly from a slaughter pen. Heavily pregnant, and foundered, she was brought to Horse Feathers to have her foal in safety, and to possibly rehabilitate her to the point that she could live comfortably. She is becoming more sound with natural trim techniques, supplements, and massage therapy to keep her comfortable. For more information on her recovery process from founder, please see the farrier page. In November of 2007, when Lily was turned out, she actually spent time loping around the arena, which is a HUGE improvement! Today she's living comfortablely at Horse Feathers

We would like to thank the good folks at Response Products for supplying Lily with a tub of their joint formula to aid in her recovery.  If you would like to sponsor another tub for her, please contact us.
